Paseo 206 is a small super-deluxe boutique hostal style property nestled among the tree-lined streets, art galleries and art deco buildings of Vedado, the downtown cultural heart of Havana.
Recently opened to guests, the Italian-Cuban owners, Andrea and Diana and their family have succeeded in creating a very homely place to stay at this former family mansion house dating back to 1933. The building has been restored with a sense of informal exclusivity with many of the original architectural elements and refined furniture in place, however a touch of cool modern Italian interior design is present throughout.
Light, chic and romantic the exclusive Italian restaurant named Eclectico and the small and cosy lounge are popular amongst discerning locals, ex pats and diplomats. The family owners place great emphasis on providing guests with a warm and professional service throughout their stay and it’s a very personable and homely place to stay.
The 10 suite style rooms are bright and very comfortable with a number of little touches that portrays the attention to detail at Paseo 206. With a contemporary sky-blue walls, original tiled floors, vaulted ceilings and custom made Italian furnishings the rooms are very comfortable. Complimentary wifi is available along with hypoallergenic king-sized beds with Italian linen, Hermes courtesy products and 24-hour room service.
The Master Suites offer a larger room with small lounge area and the famous Rooftop Suites offer a secluded stay, private terrace and two offer outdoor Jacuzzi.
