The Sevilla Hotel has a superb location in Old Havana, adjacent to the famous Prado street and close to the Malecon sea front promenade, Central Square, and within walking distance of Old Havana’s main tourist sights. The Revolution Museum and Belles Artes Gallery which are a stone throw’s away.
The hotel has a rich history and has been a popular meeting place for Cuban high society from the time of its inauguration in 1908. In the 1930s, the notorious mobster Santo Trafficante had shares in the hotel and Al Capone and his mob lived on the 6th Floor of the hotel whilst looking after their ‘business’ interests in Havana.
The Sevilla enjoys a large outdoor swimming pool quite a rarity in Old Havana. Other attractive features include the palatial rooftop restaurant, an enormous and elegant dining room, with amazing views of the city, and the perfect location for breakfast or dinner, and where regular evening cultural performances take place.

The Sevilla is one of our most popular hotels, due to its location and the outdoor pool and sunbathing terraces. Rumour has it that there lies a secret tunnel linking the former Presidential Palace with the hotel.
178 rooms are furnished in a simple colonial style throughout, offering either 1 king size bed or twin beds and private bathroom. For a small supplement upgrade to a superior room offering more space, as well as seating area.
