A new addition to the portfolio of upmarket hotels in Havana, we are very excited about the Gran Hotel Bristol. The dining options are a refreshing new choice in hotels in Havana, especially the rooftop breakfasts.
The Gran Hotel Bristol is a small, luxury hotel located in the heart of Old Havana and a member of the highly regarded Kempinski worldwide hotel chain. Originally a hotel in Havana’s pre-revolution years, the Bristol, located in a Spanish style colonial building has been fully restored to its former glory with a modern twist.
Located in a part of Old Havana that was previously the centre of the city’s social and artistic scene with a very bohemian vibe, the hotel overlooks the iconic Capitolio building and is a short walk from many of Old Havana’s most important sight including the ornate National Theatre and bustling Parque Central.
Behind the 1930s Art Deco style the hotel offers a range of luxury services and facilities and is already highly regarded in the city despite its recent opening in 2019.
One of the highlights is the fabulous rooftop infinity pool and sun terraces overlooking the Capitolio building, offering fantastic views across the city, especially at night when guests can enjoy the city lights whilst sampling a signature cocktail.
Dining options include a rooftop al fresco restaurant where guests can take breakfast. Latin inspired tapas and cocktails can be enjoyed at the cocktail bar where a DJ regularly plays Latin chill. The popular lobby bar offers traditional Cuban meals including unique poke bowls with local ingredients.
