The beautiful Hacienda La Casona is an upmarket ranch, approximately ten-minutes’ walk from the centre of Trinidad. The entrance is marked by an intriguing brightly-painted front gate which opens up to a unique private hotel, stables and vast agricultural land with spectacular views across to the Escambray Mountains.

This very special ranch has a contemporary rustic feel, and with the cactuses, terracotta pots, stables and cowboys you could be forgiven for thinking you were in the wild-west. The horses kept here are clearly well looked after and stand proudly in the shade keeping watch over guests.

Hacienda La Casona has a choice of very individual rooms, each different from the next and with unique features carved into the stone keeping the very natural environment feel, of course with air conditioning and private bathroom. There are 8 rooms in total with 1 basic room, 5 standard rooms, 1 junior suite and 1 very impressive master suite complete with a huge majestic bathroom which is the ultimate stay for a honeymoon or other special occasion. Close to the stables, you will find an ideal annexe for families to stay, where 3 standard rooms can interconnect, sleeping up to 8 people. There are also the horses close by to keep children interested, and plenty of outdoor space.

Local produce is grown here, and there is an outside BBQ-grill and café area where you can sample their home-grown delicacies from the vegetable patch, as well as fresh lobster or the special of the day. To hold your own wedding or special event at this beautiful ranch would be simply magical.
